Our organic extra virgin olive oil is a cold pressed oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. The olives are picked before being fully ripe which gives a slight bitterness and a pungency to our olive oil, created by the tannins. It is a monovarietal olive oil from the koroneiki variety and is of Protected Designation of Origin from Krokees-Lakonias in the Peloponnese.
Our wild oregano is hand-picked from mount Parnon in the Peloponnese. It is very aromatic and its aroma is enhanced even more when you rub the oregano between your fingers by helping release all the essential oils. When you use it in cooking, too much can give a bitter taste so use sparingly.
